Sometimes, I write music that is used in TV shows.

Although Christmas is at least another 8 months away, Christmas TV shows and films are already in production.

Today, my sync agent sent me an email asking me to write music for a Christmas episode of a TV show.

Christmas music never goes out of fashion. Every year, the holiday demands new songs.

Usually, these emails arrive in June or July — Christmas in July.

But this year, I'm writing new Jingle Bells in the middle of April. It's only 50 degrees outside since winter still hasn't disappeared.

Does this count as Christmas?
