It's that time of year again! It's Christmas in May.

Or rather, Christmas movie production in May!

Most Christmas movies don't actually film at Christmas. Networks like Hallmark make holiday movies nearly all year round and spend just a few months editing them before it's time for the holiday season again.

I received an email this week requesting some Christmas music for an upcoming holiday TV show on Netflix.

Funnily enough, I was wearing my swimming shorts the day I got the email because I was headed to the beach.

I wrote a song with my friend Nikhil called "Next December" to try and send out for this year's season.

“We’ll be starting fires With the wrapping paper Jingle bells on repeat Waking up the neighbors”

We’ll see if it ever makes the light of day…

For the time being, dreaming of cocoa and eggnog all afternoon made me a little nostalgic.
